Intended Use
disease of small domestic and wild ruminants. It is caused by a Morbillivirus closely related to but distinct from rinderpest virus. The «PPRV RT-PCR kit» is intended to detect viral RNA in blood, animal tissue, swabs semen and environmental samples, which is rapid, accurate and easyto-operate. The test kit «PPRV RT-PCR kit» is designed for multiplexed detection of the specific to PPRV RNA (M gene), according OIE validated protocol, and Internal Control (18 S) gene as sample processing control by real time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with fluorescent detection of the analysis results.
Principle

The method is based on the isolation of total RNA from samples, and after reverse transcription to cDNA further amplification of specific regions of PPRV (M gene) using specific oligonucleotide primers and the synthesis of complementary DNA chains using the enzyme Hot start Taq DNA polymerase. Fluorescent detection of the analysis results is performed both in real-time (Real-time mode) or end point assay using two fluorescence detection channels (FAM525 nm, ROX580 nm).

Blood, tissue, swabs and semen samples can be used directly for Nucleic Acids extraction according commercially available RNA extraction kit recommendations.
