Important Information

• The medium does not contain insulin or transferrin, but adding 5 mg/l insulin can improve its performance.
• For cholesterol-dependent cell lines such as NS0 and derivatives, supplementation with a cholesterol supplement or another source of cholesterol is necessary for growth.
• The medium lacks a surfactant, so when used for agitated suspension culture, 1 g/l of Pluronic® F-68 should be added as a supplement.
• In most cases, antibiotics are not recommended, but when necessary, general antibiotics such as penicillin/streptomycin, gentamicin, anti-PPLO, lincomycin, and amphotericin B are compatible with HybridomaFirst. However, kanamycin sulfates or neomycin sulfates should not be used.

Store at +2 °C to +8 °C. Once opened store at +4 °C and use within 6–8 weeks.
